Christmas feel
If you like to add a little Christmas spirit to your home, you can sprinkle baking soda on your windowsills for a frosty look!

Fresher shoes
Freshen your shoes by sprinkling baking powder on the insoles. This also helps keeps moisture from your feet while deodorizing your feet at the same time.

Freshen mops and cloths
When you think you need a new mop or a new dust rag, you can soak your items in a bucket of quart of water, a cup of baking soda and a half-cup of salt. Soaking your mop or rags overnight brighten and freshen fast.

All purpose cleaner
An all purpose cleaner that you can use all through your home: using a quart of water, add four teaspoons of baking soda, half cup of vinegar and keep this in a spray bottle. You can wipe your counters, windowsills, and even floors for a clean that cuts through dirt, grime, dust and spills.
 
Carpet spills
To get rid of spills on your carpet, you can sprinkle on the baking soda to soak up as much of the liquid as possible. The baking soda will absorb the moisture and the odor from the spill. If you have a little stain left in the carpet, use club soda to bring it up.

Fresher pillows
If you like sewing your own pillows, sprinkle a little baking soda in the filling of you pillows to keep the fresh smell of the fabric for months to come!
