Blood stains
To get blood out of clothes, soak in a cool bucket of water, with a cup of vinegar and a cup of baking soda. Soaking overnight the bloodstain will come right out. Never soak in hot water as hot will set a bloodstain.

If you have a bloodstain on a light colored fabric, you can rub with a paste of baking soda and water, rub gently into the stained area and then rinse with peroxide. This will lighten clothes that bleed easily.

Vomit
Soak vomit covered clothes in a pail of water and two cups of baking soda to get rid of the smell. To get rid of any stains add a cup of vinegar to the pail of water as well.

Baby clothes
Using a cup of baking soda with your liquid laundry detergent on baby clothes will keep them from getting rashes as often.

Odors
If you have been out at the bar all night and your clothes smell like smoke, soak them in a pail of water with a half cup of baking soda to get rid of this smell.

Odor quick fix
When you have a pile of laundry sitting in the laundry room and you don’t have to wash them sprinkle some baking soda absorb the odors so they don’t stink up the house.
